Well a couple of weeks ago, on July 21st, I had the honor and blessing of being a part of the Annual Variety Show at Mile Hi Church. I was among so many talented people and musicians! I chose to sing one of my favorite songs of all times, “Miss Cellie’s Blues” from one of my favorite movies, “The Color Purple”. It was my best performance...ever. The guys in the band Rob Lowe on Piano, Blake Eberhard on Bass and Mike Marlier on Drums and Dr. Kent Rautenstraus on Keys were amazing. I’m so grateful for the opportunity. It was a GREAT NIGHT!

Hi Mailyn! This is Dee reminding herself how you can add entries to your blog. I see that I also need to figure out how to change the background color to match the rest of the site, so I'm going to take care of that right now. I'll also see about changing the log-in info...

Well, here it is, my new blogspot on my new website. Thanks to dear friend Dee Galloway of Sterling Image Design for redesigning my website - I'm so grateful to have you in my life, Dee!

I just returned from my trip to Bali with Jana Stansfield and friends. It was a more awesome experience than I could ever have imagined, filled with so much affirmation for the work I do, the way I do it, and the music I live to make. Everything has been kind of surreal since I got back. Stay tuned for photos from my trip.

As my sweetie and I prepare for our first holiday in our beautiful new home, we're constantly reminded of how we've grown together in the past year. We are so fortunate to have forged such a mutually supportive basis from which we each can take the gifts we've been given and share them with the world.

Namaste and Happy Holidays to All!
